Rooster Charter is a fishing and duck hunting guide service out of Port Mansfield, Texas; since 1997. Owner and U. S. Coast Guard captain Roger Kohutek is a professional guide with 25 years of experience on the Lower Laguna Madre bay and its marshes. Specializing in drift and wade fishing for Redfish (Red Drum), Speckled Trout and the South Texas coast duck hunts.
Whether it's a couple of buddies duck hunting in south Texas or wading in the flats for that trophy (Redfish and Trout) or maybe just a relaxing family fishing vacation, you'll be in good hands with captain Roger at Rooster Charters!
About the Boats
Majek Reeper & Alumitech Airboat
Captain Roger guides out of a 24' Majek Reeper. He utilizes this tool to transport you to your adventures in fishing. This boat was built for a smooth ride with platform for fishing and with a Mercury 300 he can run twice as fast, increasing your fishing time. Fully loaded with captain, anglers, tackle, bait, rods and reels, he can go where most shallow boats can go inshore and can go offshore on those nice summer days.
This 23' Alumitech airboat accommodates up to 6 hunters, decoys, retriever and all your hunting gear. For blast-n-cast it will comfortably accommodate up to 4 to 5 persons, retriever, decoys, all tackle and hunting gear.
